i should mention that i am rather geeky, in case it wasn't already apparent. to wit, some haiku i wrote today about the deCSS haiku.

these really smart dudes
(they're at MIT, of course)
broke the encryption

the MPAA
(boo! hiss! greedy usurpers!)
threatened a lawsuit

but if something's art
first amendment protects it
so they took the code

wrote it as haiku
and now everyone can know
info should be free
