mmmm lovely warm full cozy couch tv fast run and pasta with ham and broccoli and onions and no peas and no beans because the chef does not enjoy such things. i am well-suited to this. domestic by nature, a much more social creature lately than is my preference. someone to say "go relax, i'll finish this" and later after everyone has left or gone to bed i gather up the dishes, wash dry put them away, wipe everything clean again. now with warm pruney hands and sleepy eyes and this was just right and glowing.

off to dream of friday nights in with someone, dinner and maybe some rented film and popcorn. sweet milky tea. soaking up comfort hearing cars go by outside and everyone out there always racing and spinning, and me knowing how it feels to be still.
